Diploma in X-Ray Lab Technician

X-Ray lab technicians also known as radiological technicians, produce X-ray images of different parts of the body. These images are used for routine diagnostic needs or form part of complex investigations. Technologists produce images for radiologist interpretation to aid in medical diagnosis. The conscientious technologist can derive much personal satisfaction as a contributor to the success of the health team and the well being of the patient.

Job Opportunities

A career in radiologic technology can lead in many direction. They work in a large hospital, a sub urban out patient clinic or a rural physician’s office. They could specialize in dozens of clinical areas ranging from prenatal care to orthopedics.
